WorldRemit Overview
WorldRemit is a brand of Zepz, the group that also owns Sendwave. CheckRate tracks it from Canada, the UK, the US and Europe to Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, India and Pakistan. Several routes showed a transfer fee in our records, up to 4.99 Canadian dollars.
In our records WorldRemit had the highest standard rate on every recorded day for pounds to Pakistani rupees (68 of 68), but the lowest on most days for Canadian dollars to naira (55 of 75) and to rupees (65 of 68). Its own pages list cash pickup and mobile money in several countries, including M-Pesa, Airtel and Equitel in Kenya.

Are WorldRemit and Sendwave the same company?
They are both brands of Zepz. In the UK both operate under WorldRemit Ltd (FRN 900891), in Canada under WorldRemit Inc. and in the US under WorldRemit Corp. Their rates and fees are set separately, so CheckRate lists them separately.
Does WorldRemit charge a transfer fee?
On several routes. In CheckRate's latest records WorldRemit showed fees from none up to 4.99 Canadian dollars depending on the route. The table works out the amount received after the fee we have on record.
